Lidia Celebrates America is a series of specials, Lidia Bastianich takes viewers on a culinary journey in which she explores how immigrants have preserved their unique culinary traditions, weaving their cultures into the diverse land that is America. The popular chef experiences the nation's diversity through culture, tradition and food. Each episode focuses on a different type of ethnic celebration, including holidays, weddings and celebrations of independence. Joining Bastianich on her journey are special guests that include Stanley Tucci, Mo Rocca and Mario Cantone.

Mario Francesco Batali (born September 19, 1960) is an American chef, writer, restaurateur, and media personality. Batali co-owns restaurants in New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Singapore, Westport, Connecticut and New Haven, Connecticut. Batali is also known for his appearances on the Food Network, on shows such as Molto Mario and Iron Chef America, in which last he was one of the featured “Iron Chefs.”
